The Young Disciples Co. was a funk-soul-jazz collective active during the 1960s and 1970s, hailing from East St. Louis, Illinois. The group emerged from the Young Disciples program, an initiative designed to keep kids off the streets, which was operated at the South End Neighborhood Opportunity Center.
