The Younghearts were a soul group formed in 1967 in Los Angeles, California, originally known as The Younghearts. They achieved early success with their debut single “A Little Togetherness,” released in January 1967 on Canterbury, which reached the top 10 of the US R&B Charts and became a Northern Soul Scene Classic. Following this, they signed with Minit and released their debut album, Sweet Soul Shakin’, in 1968, showcasing their high-quality harmony soul and unique falsetto style. Over the years, the group's lineup changed, and they were briefly known as The New Younghearts in 1970. During this period, they released the single ‘Young Hearts Get Lonely Too,’ which has become a sought-after item among Rare Soul collectors. In 1973, they signed with 20th Century Fox and transitioned from a quartet to a trio, resulting in the notable track ‘Do You Have The Time,’ which became a Connoisseurs Classic. This was followed by their 1974 album ‘A Taste of..’ featuring popular songs like ‘You’re Not Here With Me’ and ‘We’re All God’s Children.’ Their final album, All About Love, was released in 1977 on ABC.
