The Zanies were an American group active in the late 1950s, initially formed as an instrumental combo featuring Lew Bedell. They later transformed into a novelty act, incorporating a comedic element into their music. Their repertoire included several semi-instrumentals with a humorous twist, such as "The Blob" released on Doré 509 and "Frustration" on Doré 632.
