The Death Set is an experimental music band, often categorized as art punk, that originated in 2005 in Sydney, Australia. After six months, the band relocated to the East Coast of the United States, spending time in Baltimore, Philadelphia, and Brooklyn, where they cultivated an audience for their unique blend of experimental, cross-genre punk rock. Although the band has moved frequently, they have thrived in each city, with all members currently residing in Brooklyn, New York. The Death Set combines punk rock energy with electronic music production and hip hop sampling in their recordings. Their live performances are known for their high energy, often inciting crowd chaos, and they sometimes play at crowd level with the audience surrounding them.
