Thijs van Leer, born on March 31, 1948, in Amsterdam, is a Dutch musician, singer, songwriter, composer, and producer. He is best known as the founding member of the rock band Focus, where he serves as the primary vocalist, keyboardist, and flautist. Thijs is the father of three children and is a former husband.
