Thin Lizzy is an Irish rock band that was formed in Dublin in 1969. The band disbanded on September 4, 1983, but reformed with various combinations of former members after the death of their founding frontman, who passed away in 1986. Throughout their existence, Thin Lizzy featured several guitar players, including John Cann and Andy Gee, among others. A drummer replaced another member for a few gigs, while keyboard players included one who contributed to the band's first recordings and another who was with the band from the album "Renegade" until the end. The most famous and well-known lineup of Thin Lizzy occurred during the period from 1974 to 1978, featuring prominent lead guitarists. Up to 2019, members continued to tour as Thin Lizzy with a revolving lineup, with the last known show taking place at the Alcatraz Festival in Belgium in 2019. This performance included members Scott Gorham, Darren Wharton, Damon Johnson, Scott Travis, and Ricky Warwick.
