Thomas Gray was a jazz trumpeter and cornetist, born around 1905. He joined the music scene in Chicago in 1927 and worked with various groups, including a notable engagement in 1928, another in 1929, and the Midnight Revellers in 1930. He continued performing with different bands in 1931 and others throughout his career. Eventually, Gray left full-time music to run his own restaurant. By 1970, he was reported to be farming in Michigan.
