Thomas P. Heckmann is a German electronic, techno, and acid house record producer from Mainz, Rhineland-Palatinate. He began his music career with his first release in 1991 on a label based in Frankfurt. In 1993, he founded a new label and established its sub-label the following year. By 1998, he had succeeded those labels by starting another label, along with its sub-label in 2000. In 2005, he relaunched AFU Music under the new name AFU Limited, achieving significant success with his own releases as well as popular tracks by artists like Popof and Butch. He later introduced the sub-label AFULAB. Currently, he produces techno and various forms of electronic underground music for AFU Limited, Nachtstrom Schallplatten, Carpe Sonum, and others. Additionally, he operates a successful mastering service.
