Thomas Wayne was an American singer born on July 22, 1940, in Batesville, Mississippi. He was the brother of another artist and transitioned to a career as a producer and studio engineer in Nashville and the surrounding Music City area after his singing career ended. Tragically, he died in a car accident on August 15, 1971, in Memphis, Tennessee.
