Those Who Walk Away is the project of Winnipeg composer Matthew Patton, recognized for scoring Paul Taylor’s Emmy-winning Speaking in Tongues and collaborating with filmmaker Guy Maddin. As a curator and educator, Patton released his debut album, The Infected Mass, a ghostly, minimalist requiem that explores themes of absence and sonic decay. This work was co-produced with Paul Corley and released on Constellation.
