Thurston Harris was an American singer and songwriter, born on July 11, 1931, in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was active in the early R&B scene in South Central Los Angeles during the early 1950s and recorded with the Lamplighters, one of the notable groups of that era. Harris passed away on April 14, 1990, in Los Angeles, California.
