Tim Curry (born 19 April 1946, Grappenhall, Cheshire, England) is an English actor, voice artist, comedian, singer, and composer. He studied drama and English at Cambridge and Birmingham Universities. Curry is perhaps best known for his iconic role as Dr. Frank N. Furter in The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975). In addition to his acting career, he has also pursued a career as a rock musician. His extensive list of roles spans both television and film, including live-action and voice acting for animated features, with a notable tendency to portray villains.
