Todd Terry is an American house music producer and DJ, born on April 18, 1967, in Brooklyn, New York. He is recognized for his instrumental role in the development of New York's house music during the 1980s. His productions feature a diverse collection of samples that blend classic disco sounds with the Chicago sound that was pioneered earlier in the decade. In 1991, he co-founded a notable project and later established another in the early 2000s.
