Real Name is a production team best known for their track "Hardcore Uproar." The duo met at an acid house party in Blackburn in 1989 and named their track after the raves of the same name, with the crowd noise recorded at the last of these events. "Hardcore Uproar" was initially written and pressed as a white-label with the goal of getting played at the legendary Hacienda nightclub in Manchester. The track not only achieved that but also gained immense popularity, leading to a commercial release that reached #12 in the UK music chart. Suddi remains based in Manchester, where he has composed music for numerous video games and now runs his own audio design company. Tragically, Jonathon and his girlfriend, who provided the vocals on the track, were killed in a road accident on the island of Ibiza around 1991. In their memory, a tribute night called Harmony was held at the Hacienda in September 1991.
