Stan Tohon, born Stanislas Roger Tohon in 1955 in Abomey, was a renowned Beninese singer, musician, and composer. He was affectionately nicknamed “the king of the Tchink System,” which is a traditional rhythm from Benin. Tohon passed away on February 26, 2019, in Paris.
