Tom Salta is an award-winning music composer known for creating dramatic original music across various genres for film, television, advertising, and video games. Before establishing his composing career, he toured with and contributed to releases by a wide range of popular artists, including Peter Gabriel, Junior Vasquez, Everything But The Girl, Deep Forest, Mary J. Blige, and Sinead O'Connor. Salta gained recognition for his work on the contemporary and traditional Japanese musical score for Ubisoft's Red Steel, which won IGN's Award for Best Original Score. He also composed the live orchestral score for Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter (GRAW), nominated for Best Original Video Game Score at the MTV Video Music Awards. His versatility spans live orchestration, percussion, synthesizers, and the latest software. Salta's latest project is the exhilarating music score for H.A.W.X, the first air-combat game in the Tom Clancy video game universe, featuring a hybrid score that combines live orchestral and electronic elements, recorded at Legacy Studios in New York with top musicians from the New York Philharmonic and Metropolitan Opera Orchestra.
