**Bio: Tom Thumb and The Casuals** Tom Thumb and The Casuals were a band from Seattle, Washington, active from 1963 to 1965. The group was formed when Blessing and Letterman recruited Wolfe from a local band, The Nomads. They gained attention and signed with Seafair-Bolo Records, releasing the local hit "Movin' On." In 1965, they welcomed Steve Valley, the brother of band member Jim Valley, into the lineup and soon signed with Jerry Dennon's Panorama label, releasing two 45s that received significant airplay. The band participated in Teen Fair Battles of the Bands Contests, winning one of the events. However, their promising future was tragically cut short when their vehicle crashed while en route to a performance in Richland, Washington, resulting in the deaths of Blessing and Evans, while Valley sustained injuries but eventually recovered. The lineup included: - Steve Alcobrack – Guitar - Tom (Thumb) Blessing – Saxophone, Guitar - Larry Evans – Bass - Scott Letterman – Drums - Brad Miller – Guitar - Gary Snyder – Bass - Steve Valley – Guitar - Jim Wolfe – Keyboards
