Tommy McLain (born March 15, 1940, in Jonesville, Louisiana, USA - died July 24, 2025) was an American swamp pop musician renowned for his singing, as well as his skills on keyboards, drums, bass guitar, fiddle, and bagpipe. In 2022, he released his first album in 40 years. McLain gained fame in 1966 with his hit "Sweet Dreams," which reached #15 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart and #7 in Canada. He is also known for the song "Try To Find Another Man" and for writing the single "If You Don't Love Me Alone (Leave Me Alone)."
