Tonto Irie, originally named Tonto Ranking, is a Jamaican dancehall toaster known for his influential contributions to the genre. He formed a significant partnership with another artist, and together they played a pivotal role in the rise of the Black Star Soundsystem. Later, Tonto Irie joined the King Jammy’s set, helping them achieve great success.
