Tony Asher is an English-American jingle writer and lyricist, born on May 2, 1939. He is known for his collaboration with the Beach Boys, co-writing eight songs on their 1966 album "Pet Sounds," including the iconic tracks "God Only Knows" and "Wouldn't It Be Nice." Additionally, he has co-written songs with other artists.
