Tony Bizarro, born Luiz Antônio Bizarro on April 19, 1948, in São Paulo, was a Brazilian singer, songwriter, and producer known for his contributions to MPB, soul, and funk music. He began his career in the 1960s with the theatrical company of actor Oscarito, who mentored him and helped him discover his singing talent. In 1970, he recorded his first LP, "Tony & Frankye," alongside his friend Frank Arduini, which was produced by Raul Seixas. Throughout his career, Tony collaborated with various Brazilian artists, including Tim Maia, Lincoln Olivetti, Jorge Robson, and Almir Ricardi. As a producer, Bizarro worked on albums for artists such as Cassiano, Odair José, Diana, and Sidney Magal, primarily for the Polydor label. He also produced the projects "Cem Anos de Samba" and "Cem Anos de Carnaval." His first solo LP, "Nesse Inverno," was released in 1977, and in the 1980s, he gained popularity with the hit "Estou Livre," followed by several singles. In 1992, he released a retelling of Tony Tornado's success, "BR3." After a hiatus from music in the early 2000s, Bizarro made a comeback in 2011 with the CD "Estou Livre."
