Tony Hester was a soul producer, arranger, and songwriter, born on July 7, 1946. He passed away on August 30, 1980, in Detroit, Michigan. Hester got his first song recorded at the age of 14 with "A Little Bit of Sympathy." He wrote all the songs for the first two albums and also contributed his songwriting talents to various artists.
