Tony Hestor was a soul producer, arranger, and songwriter born on July 7, 1946. He passed away in Detroit, Michigan, on August 30, 1980. Hestor achieved his first songwriting success at the young age of 14 with the song "A Little Bit of Sympathy." He wrote all the songs for his first two albums and also contributed songs for various other artists.
