Tony Scott (born June 17, 1921, in Morristown, New Jersey, USA - died March 28, 2007, in Rome, Italy) was an American jazz clarinetist, band leader, songwriter, arranger, and producer. He performed with various artists and was married to his first wife from around 1950 to 1960. In the early 1970s, he emigrated to Italy and explored Asian cultures and meditation music, which is evident in his 1964 album, regarded by some as the first "New Age Music" manifesto.
