Transs is a jazz fusion music group from Jakarta, formed on June 6, 1980. The group consists of talented musicians including Fariz RM (vocals, keyboard), Erwin Gutawa (bass), Uce Haryono (drums), Jundi Karyadi (keyboard), Eddy Harris (keyboard), Hafil Perdanakusumah (flute, vocal), Wibi AK (percussion), Dhandung SSS (vocals), and supporting singer Wiwiek Lismani (vocals). In 1981, they released their only studio album, entitled Hotel San Vicente. Transs played a significant role in the development of fusion music in Indonesia and was a pioneer for other jazz fusion groups such as Karimata, Krakatau, Black Fantasy, Emerald, and Bhaskara.
