Trans-X is a Canadian synth-pop band based in Montreal, Quebec. The group is known for its iconic track "Living On Video," featuring the female voice of Laurie Ann Gill, who was born on July 18, 1964, in Montreal, although she was never credited on any Trans-X release. From 1987 to 1990, Pascal's wife, Denise, who is from Los Angeles, participated in most of the band's television appearances, and they released one record together. In 1994, Pascal relocated to Barcelona, Spain, where he met Lali, a Catalan woman who performed at all Trans-X shows from 1994 to 2008. In 2006, a different vocalist was hired to record the voice for the 2006 ZYX release of "Living On Video," but she never performed live with the band. From 2008 to 2015, the vocalist for Trans-X was from Argentina.
