Trio Curupira is a musical group formed in 1996 by young musicians and composers from the state of São Paulo. The pianist has been a member of the group since 1994. The trio is dedicated to developing a unique body of work that stems from musical and cultural research focused on the authentic music of Brazil. They explore a wide range of rhythms and transcend stylistic boundaries.
