Trío Los Antares is a Puerto Rican guitar and vocals trio that was formed in 1950 and remained active from the 1950s to the 1980s. The group was initially led by Raúl Balseiro, Rafael Scharron, and Enrique (Quique) Roque. Over the years, several musicians joined the trio, including Sotero Collazo, Miguel Alcaide, Pedrito Berrios, Vitín Otero, Luis Ángel Arroyo, Teddy Torres, and Eddie Flores, among others. Raúl Balseiro was the most stable member throughout the trio's existence. It is important to note that this group is not to be confused with the Colombian/Ecuadorian trio of the same name that was formed in the 1980s.
