Trippie Redd, born Michael Lamar White II on June 18, 1999, in Canton, Ohio, is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter. He gained prominence with his song "Love Scars" and his feature on XXXTENTACION's "Fuck Love." Trippie is best known for his tracks "Dark Knight Dummo," featuring Travis Scott, which peaked at number 72 on the Billboard Hot 100, and "Topanga," which reached number 52. In July 2018, he announced his debut album, Life's a Trip, which was released on August 10, 2018, and debuted at number four on the US Billboard 200 Album Chart, selling 72,000 album-equivalent units. On August 9, 2019, he released his second album, !. He achieved his first US number-one album on the Billboard 200 with A Love Letter to You 4, released on November 22, 2019, which became his most successful project, accumulating 125.9 million on-demand audio streams in its first week.
