Troy Dodds, born Troy Brown Raglin, was a soul artist from San Francisco, California, active during the 1960s and 1970s. He began his career in the late 1950s as a singer with The Halos, which included members like Clement Briellard. In 1966, Dodds established his own label, Golden Gate Disk, with financial backing from basketball legend Wilt Chamberlain, who was then playing for the Golden State Warriors. His last solo single was released through this label. In 1973, Dodds moved to Los Angeles and became a founding member of the soul-rock group SpaceArk. He partnered with a lead guitarist from 1973 to 1979, but they ended their partnership in late 1979. Afterward, Dodds relocated to Yermo, California, where he founded an independent label called Fire Mountain Records. It is believed that he passed away around 2003.
