The Tuva Ensemble, founded by virtuoso throat-singer Gennadi Tumat from Xandagaity in southwestern Tuva, showcases the rich musical traditions of the region. With the assistance of folklorist Zoya Kyrgys, the ensemble has gained recognition and is also referred to as Folklore Ensemble "Tuva" on various releases.
