Twin Perils is an underground hip-hop duo comprised of June Marx and Lone Ninja, both from Brooklyn. Known for their intricate lyricism and dark, cinematic soundscapes, their music explores themes of warfare, espionage, and dystopian futures, drawing inspiration from martial arts and science fiction. June Marx is a rapper and producer recognized for his complex rhyme schemes and vivid storytelling. He produces much of his own material, creating atmospheric beats that enhance his lyrical content. Lone Ninja is celebrated for his rapid-fire delivery and a thematic focus on stealth and combat, with a style influenced by martial arts and espionage narratives. Together, Twin Perils have released three albums: "Dark Alliance" (2008), their debut that introduces their signature style; "Word Supremacy" (2010), which continues their exploration of combative themes; and "Speak And Destroy" (2011), an album that delves into esoteric and mystical themes, showcasing their growth as artists and producers. Each album reflects their commitment to a cohesive thematic and sonic experience, solidifying their place in the underground hip-hop scene.
