Ty Hunter was a soul artist from Detroit, Michigan, active during the 1960s and 1970s. After pursuing a solo career, he sang with the group Glass House for Invictus Records. In 1971, he joined the Motown group The Originals, which initially served as a backing group for Motown. Ty Hunter was the nephew of a late R&B baritone/second tenor. He passed away on February 24, 1981.
