Uluwehi Guerrero, known as "Ulu" to his close friends, is a Hawaiian Hula vocalist born in Wailuku, Maui. He studied hula under Kumu Hula Peter Pekelo Day from Ke‘anae. After Kumu Pekelo relocated to Hilo in 1982, Ulu formed and became a Na Kumu of a hula school that eventually gained recognition as one of Maui’s most decorated, award-winning Hula Hālau.
