Unlimited Touch was a New York-based post-disco group that gained regional fame in the early 1980s. The lineup included Audrey Wheeler, Phil Hamilton, Tony Cintron, Sandy Anderson, Stephanie James, and Lenny Underwood. The group was formed in the early '80s by Raymond Reid and William Anderson, who were previously part of the band Crown Heights Affair, though they did not join Unlimited Touch. The band was signed to Prelude Records, with distribution through Epic Records in the U.K. Due to significant disputes involving management, the label, and the group, Unlimited Touch disbanded by the end of 1981. However, they re-formed in 1983 with a new lineup featuring three of the original members: Audrey Wheeler, Sandy Anderson, and Stephanie James. Lenny Underwood co-wrote the regional hits "I Hear Music in the Streets" and "Searchin' to Find the One." The group later released "Yes We're Ready" in 1983 and "Reach Out (Everlasting Love)" in 1984.
