Urban Thermo Dynamics was an early 1990s hip-hop group based in Brooklyn, NYC. The group featured Mos Def, who contributed to their early work before his later collaborations and solo endeavors. In the late 90s, Mos Def reunited with DCQ to form a new group, releasing a few singles.
