Urban Verbs is an American new wave band formed in 1977 in Washington D.C. The founding member is the brother of a notable figure in the music industry. After gaining critical acclaim for their live performances at CBGB, they secured a record deal. The band released two albums, with the first produced by an unnamed producer and the second by another unnamed producer. They were set to support an American tour, but it was canceled due to the suicide of an unnamed individual.
