Vam Cyborg is a pioneering band in Spanish electronic music, founded in the mid-1975 by Vicente Aguilera under the name Cyborg. The band has maintained an independent spirit throughout its decades-long journey, exploring a wide range of musical activities, ideas, and instruments. Initially featuring a classical setup of drums, bass guitar, guitars, keyboard, and voice, Vam Cyborg later embraced more experimental configurations, incorporating synthesizers, rhythm machines, and sequencers. In September 1981, Ricardo López joined the group, and they began performing as an electronic duet, starting in the Basque Country and continuing in Aragón. Their concerts featured dramatic effects with projections, metallic structures, and makeup. Vam Cyborg has released several official recordings, including "Mortal Joy" and "Vam," and appeared on various TV programs. Their first record, "Actos de maldad," a Maxi Single, was launched in 1983, followed by "Gods Valley" in 1984 and "Dirección Prohibida" in 1986. Over the years, various musicians have collaborated with Vam Cyborg, including Eduardo Bayona Estradera, María José Cid, Jesús Aparicio, José Antonio Rodríguez, Gloria Nadeau, and Ricardo Polo, among others.
