Värttinä is a Finnish group established in 1983, known for their unique roots-based vocal and instrumental style that combines traditional Finno-Ugric vocal elements with original compositions and dynamic performances. Over the years, the group has undergone various lineup changes, featuring up to 15 singers and six instrumentalists. The current lineup includes Susan Aho, Mari Kaasinen, and Karoliina Kantelinen on vocals, Lassi Logren on violin and jouhikko, Matti Laitinen on guitar and mandocello, and Mikko Hassinen on drums and percussion.
