Venus In Furs is a highly acclaimed outfit originally based in Sussex, England. The band was formed around the multifarious talents of Times, who serves as composer, lyricist, and multi-instrumentalist. Their early material was produced as a four-piece band, releasing albums such as "Curtain: Live in Concert," "Extended Play," and "Verve." In 1984, they re-formed as a duo consisting of Times and Skot Lucy, producing two albums during this period: "Platonic Love" and "Strip." They also had a side project called The Brothers Christ, where Times, under the moniker Jeremy Christ, teamed up with Colin Johnson. Following this, Times primarily worked solo under the Venus In Furs banner, creating albums such as "Real Moral Fibre," "Megalomania," and various other works of varied and challenging music.
