Vincent Montana Jr., known as Vince Montana, was an American composer, arranger, and percussionist, celebrated for his contributions to music as a member of MFSB and the founder of the Salsoul Orchestra. He earned the title "the Godfather of disco." Born on February 12, 1928, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he passed away on April 13, 2013, in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. He was the father of three children.
