Viv Corringham is a British vocalist, composer, and sound artist currently based in New York. She has been active internationally since the early 1980s, engaging in music performances, audio installations, and soundwalks. One of her ongoing projects, Shadow-walks, has been showcased in gallery exhibitions from New York to Istanbul to Hong Kong. Viv holds an MA in Sonic Art with Distinction from Middlesex University in London and a BA in Theatre Design from Nottingham Trent University. She is also a certified teacher of Deep Listening, having studied under composer Pauline Oliveros. Additionally, she is a recipient of the McKnight Composer Fellowship in both 2006 and 2012.
