Vivien Goldman is a British-Jamaican musician, writer, and cultural commentator whose career bridges punk, post-punk, reggae, and experimental pop. Emerging from London’s vibrant late-1970s scene, she recorded influential solo and collaborative projects—including work with The Flying Lizards and members of PiL and Massive Attack—while documenting the intersections of music, politics, and identity through her journalism. Known as the “Punk Professor” for her academic work on punk and diaspora, Goldman continues to inspire with her fearless creativity and dedication to amplifying voices across boundaries of genre and culture.
