Voices of East Harlem is an American Gospel/Soul vocal group from New York City, formed in 1969 as part of an inner-city action project in East Harlem. The group was founded by a local pop warner football coach and the founder of the East Harlem Federation Youth Association (EHFYA), along with his wife. They initially set up the ensemble to perform at colleges and local benefits. The Voices often comprised a 20-member ensemble, with members ranging in age from 12 to 21. Their albums featured various producers.
