Vulpess was the first punk female band in the Basque Country, Spain, formed in 1982 by four girls aged between 17 and 21. The band consisted of Loles Vázquez, known as "Anarkoma Zorrita" on guitar, Mamen "Evelyn Zorrita" on vocals, Begoña "Ruth Zorrita" on bass, and Lupe Vázquez "Pigüy Zorrita" on drums. They gained notable recognition when they performed on the TV program "Me gusta ser una zorra" (I like to be a whore) in 1983. Vulpess released only one single during their brief career.
