wAgAwAgA is a sound artist experimenting with synthesizers, audio manipulation, live drums, and instrumentation, drawing from a diverse range of styles including dub, jungle, jazz, trip-hop, and electronica. His work incorporates elements of eastern music and natural sounds. Originating from Hertfordshire, he has a keen interest in dubstep and the nuances between misinformation and disinformation. While he describes himself as incredibly lazy, he also experiences bursts of creativity. wAgAwAgA's mission is to enrich the dubstep scene by integrating a broader set of influences—from Duke Ellington to Radiohead and Chris Morris—into his unique sound. He gained recognition in 2008 when featured on Mary-Anne Hobbs' show after releasing a single on Immigrant Recordings. Currently, he is gradually releasing various pieces and aims to engage more actively with the music scene to make a meaningful impact.
