Wali Ali Jr. is the son of a renowned guitarist and has been immersed in the music business from a young age. He created his first track at just 13 years old and has continued to produce hit tracks ever since. Notably, Wali composed and wrote music for the 1995 Coca Cola commercial featuring Tyrese, which helped launch the careers of both Gibson and himself. Teaming up with Battlecat, Wali perfected the "talk box" and contributed to the "Still More Bounce" Tribute Album project, released in 2002 on WolfPac Records. As his production skills developed, he collaborated with several prominent producers, including Billy Moss, Laney, and Tricky Stewart, and was a former member of the production team The Underdogs. Wali's recent work includes the song "So Good" by Eric Bellinger and an upcoming album with Far East Movement. His production credits span from 1995 to the present, including work on Tyrese's "Alter Ego" album and ghost production for Death Row Records. He has written, composed, and produced title tracks for various artists, contributing to the music of YNV, Erica Yancey, Mystic, Black Robb, and others.
