Wali and the Afro Caravan is an Austin, Texas-based band led by 21-year-old Wali Rahman, who performs under the stage name Wali King. Originally from Manhattan, New York, Wali brings a fresh, percussion-based jazz sound influenced by African traditions to Central Texas.
