**Waxolutionists Bio** Waxolutionists are a three-piece hip-hop outfit from Austria, founded in 1997. Known for their unique blend of classic sampling, turntablism, and electronics, they have been spreading their love for hip-hop for nearly two decades. Their debut album, "The Smart Blip Experience," was released in 1999 in Germany and featured the single "Nachtschattengewächs," which included Austrian MC and received significant acclaim, being voted into the top 10 of the most influential German hip-hop tracks of all time by Juice Magazine. The group, affectionately known as the Waxos by fans, is regarded as one of Austria's most successful hip-hop exports and won the Austrian Amadeus Award for "Best FM4 Alternative Act" in 2001. Following their debut, they released three regular albums: "Plastic People" (2002), "Counterfight" (2004), and "We Paint Colors" (2009), along with a remix album titled "RE:WAX" (2003). Throughout their career, they have collaborated with artists such as DJ Vadim, Ty, UK rap legend Blade, and vocalist Lyric L, and have remixed notable figures like André Heller and Ray Cokes.
