Pierluigi Giombini is an Italian arranger and composer born on December 11, 1956, in Rome, into a family of musicians. He was influenced by his composer father and began his musical journey at an early age, becoming one of the leading Italo-Disco arrangers of the 1980s. Giombini's career took off with his first work in 1980 alongside Natascia Maimone and continued with significant contributions in 1982, writing iconic tracks such as "Masterpiece," "Lunatic," "I Like Chopin" for Gazebo, and "You're A Danger." He achieved further success with songs like "Tip Tap Dancer," "Am-Fm" by Natasha King, "Little Big Man," and "Dancing Shoes," all released on various labels. His most notable achievement came with "Dolce Vita," released in 1984, which became the biggest European hit of that year, selling over 5 million copies.
